Marci Harris
Marci is CEO and co-founder of POPVOX, a platform for legislative information and civic engagement. From 2007-2010, she was tax, trade, and health counsel for a senior Ways and Means member in the House of Representatives. She attended Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland (B.A. International Relations), University of Memphis (J.D.) and American University's Washington College of Law (LL.M).
Marci was a Fast Company magazine's Top 100 Most Creative People in Business (2012), received a Tribeca Film Festival award for Creative Disruption (2012), listed as a 2013 "FastCase 50,” and a 2014 “Digital Citizen of the Year.” She was a 2016 Technology and Democracy Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Center and a 2017 New America California fellow.
